sons of serendip

You may recognize Sons of Serendip from their amazing run on America's Got Talent in the Fall of 2014.  They are a quartet from Boston and this is their first performance trip on the West Coast.  What a blessing that they have travelled across the country to be here tonight.  They released their first album in January of this year.  CDs are available tonight and you can also download the album from their website (link below).  They are currently finishing a Christmas album available in November. If you would like to show your support for the group simply follow the 'Christmas Album' link below and you can pre-order the Christmas album for yourself and friends.  This album will add a special touch to your holiday season.

Valley Christian schools Conservatory of the arts

Valley Christian's Conservatory of the Arts has sent wonderful musicians to perform at Dane's concert over the years including jazz, choir, and string ensembles. This year, we are grateful to have current students and recent graduates from Valley Christian's Conservatory of the Arts performing for us. Howard Dietz, currently in the jazz program at North Texas, has performed in every one of Dane's concerts.  The Valley Christian Vivid dance team is performing for the first time.

Capitol Dance Company have been a major supporter of Dane's Friends for FIRST.  They have performed at every concert.  We are grateful to the Capitol Dance Family (teachers, dancers, parents) for their support over the years.  Tonight will be the first time that Capitol Dance will be performing to live music. That is the finale!

ryan sims and friends

Ryan Sims is an accomplished guitar player and vocalist from Arizona.  Ryan released an album in January of 2014.   Jeff Ocheltree and Jay Poole are longtime friends of Ryan and members of the Ryan Sims Band.  In the photo from left to right are Jay, Jeff, and Ryan.
Also performing in this set are Howard Dietz (already introduced), Mario Minardi, Cade Phelps, and James Nobriga.  Mario Minardi is the owner of the Jam Center and a phenomenal drummer.  Mario started his music career as the drummer for General Public.  James Nobriga is a percussion major from San Jose State, owner of JNK Music School, and also the producer of Dane's Friends for FIRST.  Cade Phelps is Dane's big brother and a sophomore at Valley Christian High School.
James Nobriga and his wife, Katie, have produced their own original music this year in their group 'Changing Names'.  Follow the link below to hear tracks from their album.

This band has been growing over the years.  Ryan Sims, Howard Dietz, James Nobriga, and Mario Minardi have already been introduced and they are veterans in the band.  Justin Garcia (vocals/bass) and Kevin Harris (keyboard/vocals) are members the band 'Eden in Exile' and they are performing for the 3rd year! Katie Nobriga is back on vocals.  Jeff Ocheltree and Jay Poole are the new additions to the band...welcome aboard guys!  Thank you all for performing in memory of Dane!!!
